move for prohibition

According to the News-Chronic Ic, the British Medical Association is privately discussing plans for worldwide co-operation by doctors and scientists, in an effort, to prohibit poison gas in warfare. Sir .Tames Barrett, the Deputy Chancellor of the University of Melbourne, saiti that the subject had created initense interest at the conference of the British Medical Association in July. No do.ubt, tho medical profession would be unanimously in favour of such action. He expected that, the Australian authorities would be approached When the council of the British Medical Association had formulated its plans.
