ALSATIAN DOGS
“HUNTING IN PACK” SYDNEY, Aug. 5. According to residents in the Castle Hill area, five large Alsatian dogs roam a particular bushp.md in the district and do considerable damage. The residents want them destroyed.. In, a letter to the Baulkham Hills Shire Council, which was signed by ]() residents, it was stated that the Alsatians hunt in a pack. “Their stealthy appearance in the pith of those of us who enjoy a walk is most discomforting, " the letter said. Tho other day they tore a young beagle hound to pieces, which was being taken for a walk by two ladies. One of the pack reccnutly stalked a little girl and reduced her 1o tt. state of hysterical terror. A resident is besieged at night, as tho Alsatians roam tier front verandah. Another is afraid to take her baby for a walk." The council has asked the police to remove the dogs.
