ANTHRAX REPORT

SHAVING BRUSH BLAMED • BRISBANE, Aug. 11. A young man, who is believed to have contracted anthrax from a shaving brush, is in the Arpnto District Hospital. The ease has been reported to the Federal and State health authorities, who are awaiting bacteriological evidence to confirm the diagnosis, and arc arranging to secure all shaving brushes of the make, which is suspected. The man was married recently, and while in Rockhampton on his honeymoon, he purchased a shaving brush.

Scrum for the treatment of the easd has been sent from Brisbane, and the patient is expected to recover.
