BRITISH RETAIL TRADE (British Official Vlreless.) Reed, 9.30 a.rn. RUGBY, May 27Tho value of retail trade in Britain during April of this rear was 5 per cent greater than a year previously. For the quarter, February to April, the value was 6.7 per cent greater than for the corresponding periol of last year.
The value of stocks at the end of April was 1.3 per ce.nl higher than a year earlier and cmpbyment 4.4 per cent greater.
