The dangei of carbon Monoxide gas was stressed at a meeting of the Wanganui Automobile Association, and it was mentioned that, the leakage was mainly through faulty exhaust systems, at some point ahead of the nornal tail-pipe. Loose floor hoards also played a part, and induced the laden exhaust fumes to enter the passenger comped mold of the car. The only way to rvereome the danger was suggested to lc a rigid inspection of the car.
