The first woman pilot to land on the aerodrome near The Hermitage, Mount Cook, made the flight; from Christ chinch recently. She was Miss O. Smith, of Christchurch, Canterbury Aero Club pilot. jVtr. R. Voice was the passenger in a club Gipsy Moth.
