"DISTORTION OF TRUTH" EXPLANATIONS OFFERED ..LONDON, April 11. The Friedrichshafen correspondent of the Daily Mail states that Dr. Hugo Eckener said: "I am going to Berlin immediately in order to end the move to discredit me. It is a distortion of the truth to say that T have not toasted Herr Hitler.' T toasted Herr Hitler and Germany. "As regards the .assertion that 1 declined to allow, the airship to be named Hitler, it was an Air Ministry official who suggested the name, which Herr Hitler himself turned down."
