PALMERSTON N. PROJECT

Formed last year with the object of advancing the interests of Palmerston North and district, the Palmerston North 50,000 Club has already achieved a remarkable degree of success. Ifs numerous sub-committees have investigated matters covering a wide range, and it has combined witli other bodies in an effort to widen the city's sphere of influence and to give publicity to the potentialities of the district. In pursuance of this policy the club is at present negotiating with the Railway Department for the issue through the Dominion of 10,000 folders and 2003 posters setting out the attractions of Palmerston North. The proposed camtii.ii would cover a period of 12 months and, it is considered, would be of inestimable value to the district.
