PATROL RESCUE LAUNCH
BOAT FOR TIMOR SEA SOUTHAMPTON TRIALS (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Jan. 23. 1 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 22. The final trials of the triple-engined high-speed patrol rescue launch for use in the Timor Sea were held at Southampton to-day. The launch is equipped with a wireless receiving and transmitting set, and has a range of 950 miles without refuelling. It is capable of rescuing 40 to u«J people.
