STAVISKY'S VICTIMS
£500,000 DAMAGES AWARD
PARIS, Jan. 22.
In connection with the Stavisky trial, the court awarded £500.000 damages to various societies' which bought forged bonds issued by 1 the Bayonnc Municipal pawnshop on behalf of Stavisky.
It is doubtful whether the seven culprits held liable can pay, as all are ruined.
