GERMANY'S YOUTH
COMPLETE ORGANISATION DUTIES TO STATE • LONDON, Jan. 15. Further instructions, regarding tin 1 State's intention to compel all girls and boys to enter the Hitler Youth Movement this year are now issued in Berlin. The purpose is to bring to an end rival Catholic and Protestant organisations, in which there are still enrolled about one-quarter of Germany's youth. Church organisations, in some predominantly Catholic regions, are actually stronger than the Hitler Youth Movement.
A Reich, Academy of Youth is setting up in Munich and in Brunswick, for the training of all Hitler Youth leaders. A similar body will be created for the League of German Maidens. All boys and girls between 10 and 14 will be . brought into one organisation for young folk, or into a junior grade of the Hitler Youth Movement. The senior grade (or Browtishirt grade) of the Hitler Youth Movement proper, will be made more select, since it is destined to be the Nazi party of the future. Members will be holders of leading positions in German public life. Only the best of those in the young folk organisation will be able to enter the Hitler . Youth Movement' after proper tests. * Herr Von Schirach, head,-of the HiJler Youth Movement, speaking at Konigslberg, said: "Germany's youth belongs to the State. All who. perhaps from diffidence, have not yet entered the movement, will in future have to perform the civic duties Germany demands from young citizens.'
