BUSHMAN KILLED
WIRE ROPE RECOILS SHOCKING INJURIES (Pur Press Association.) DUNEDIN, last night. Vincent Spenee was killed while logging in the bush at Glenomaru, in the Catling District, on Tuesday. He was employed by Cunningham Bros., and had fixed a hauling rope to a log when the engine slopped suddenly. The jerk caused the wire to snap, and it swung back si liking Spenee violently. One leg was completely severed and the other partly, and the injured man was thrown a distance of 30yds., his neck being broken. The deceased was a married man with a fa mil v of two.
