GALE IN TASMAN
SHIPPING BUFFETTED MONOWAI DELAYED (Reed. Nov. 19, noon.) SYDNEY, Nov. 19. The Monowni arrived at midnight from Auckland. Sho was due at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon, but was delayed owing to heavy seas whippet! up By a westerly gale- in tho Tasman, which was also responsible for tho Waitaki, Gabriella, and Waikouaiti steaming behind schedule. These three vessels, battling in the teeth of the blow, are expected to reach Sydney to-morrow.
