The spring racing carnival is being concluded 10-dav in fine weather with the Christchurch Jockey Club’s races at Ricearton. There is a large crowd. The track fc fast. Suburban Handicap. —5-3 Sky Rover (Pascoo), 1; 6-7 Semper Paratus (Kidgwav), 2; 12-12 Hostile (Barr), 3. Scratched: Hounslow. Won by a head, and two lengths. Time, 1.41. WH ANGAREI RACES (Per Press Association.) WHANGAREI, this day. There is ideal weather for the concluding day of the Whangarei yaces. The attendance is large, and the track is in excellent order. Kauri Handicap.—l-1 Lifeguard, 1; 9-9 Sir Abb, 2; 2-4 High Crest, 3. Scratched: Express and Friar Albcrtus. Won by two lengths, and half a length. Time, 1.2 4-5.
