PATUTAHI'S HIGH FIGURE RE COHO FOR DISTRICT OCTOBER AVERACES
The October returns from the Poverty Bay Group Herd Testing Association show some unusual returns, including Die highest, average butterfat, per cow for a, group since group testing commenced in the lOsborne district. 1 his was for the NgatapaPatutahi group, which aver aged 89.011 bof fat. Another notable, performance, was by a Friesian herd cl 1.05 cows at Tolaga. Bay, which averaged 12031 bof milk, 3.43 test, and 41.56 th of fat. The summary of the October returns made available by the secretary, Air. M. Whithain, shows an average over the whole association of 34.6011) of fat, compared with 54.661 b in October last year.
