THEFT OF PAYROLL ' " * TWO MEN IN HOSPITAL SYDNEY, Nov. 9. AVhile carrying bags of money containing a payroll for a local departmental store at Darlinglmrst to-day, two men were attacked by bandits. Pepper was thrown i)i their eyes and a shot was fired. The sum of £2O .was stolen. The bandits escaped in a waiting, motor car. The Victims‘of phe' outrage were George Oakman, 66, and Leslie Klyb, 44. Tim former was shot in the groin. They were removed to hospital. They are in no danger, but are suffering intense pain from the pepper.
