The Poverty Bay Stockbrokers’ Association will, hold a Cattle Fair at the i Matawhcro yards on Tuesday, November 20. Anniversary services will be held in connection with the Roebuck road Church of Christ Sunday school on Sunday, when the Rev. Ei Batts will conduct the afternoon session, and Mr. F. Marshall the 'evening service. Much interest is. being manifested ;in, the lecture on Christian science, to be given, by Miss Margaret Mnrncy Gletin, C.S.B, , of Boston, Massachusettts, on Thursday next, November 10, in the Opera House, at 8 p.m. The meetings in the Salvation Army CitadeL to-morrow will be conducted by Brigadier and Mrs. Cottrill, divisional commanders from Palmerston North. A special Armistice Day' service will be held at 10.45 a.m. The Bright street Methodist Sunday sciiool anhivei-sary services will be held to-morrow at 10:45 a.in., 3 p.m., and 7 p.m. The Rev. E. W. Batts will conduct the morning service, tlie Rev. E. Marshall the afternoon service, and Hie. Rev.' IT. Duli.icl the evening service. The childVeh will be assisted by the Te Hapara Sunday school, and the music.selected is very tuneful.
