REUNION ARRANGEMENTS Arrangements for the reunion social of, early settlers and their families next. Thursday have been finalised. It is expected that, providing the weather holds, a large number will attend. The executive asks that the elderly people should arrive at 5 p.rn., so that they may be entertained before 8' p.m. They will’ llifii he at liberty to retire or join in tile festivities. Old-time dances will be a feature of the social proper, and suitable inusic has been arranged-, not forgetting the piper. A number of inusical, instrumental and dancing items will be included in the entertainment. There still exists a doubt in the minds of the younger people regarding qualification. The evening is solely for the - survivors of the early settlers prior to ISS4 (40 years’ standing! and their fam- • ilies—that is, fathers, wives' and adult, children.
