The results of the police examinations recently held in Gisborne, in cpnunon with all other centres in the Dominion, contain the names of Constable J. 0 walhlghan. of Tplcomaru Bay, and Constable Jj. A. Gatehouse, of Gisborne. Constable O’Callaghan has secured a full pass in the sub-inspectors’ examination, and Constable Gatehouse has secured a full pass in the sergeants’ examination. During the past few. days the following guests hav'e stayed at the Masonic J. A. Towsey, Taiiranga; Messrs, it. Morgan, A. Russell. lx. Kilmartin, D. 11. Ciochettd, J. E. Best,. G.
