RESIDENTS PERSECUTED NAZI ACTIVITIES REPORT TO THE LEAGUE (Klee. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) , GENEVA, Nov. 9. Air A. Knox, in a letter to the League of Nations, said : “I want to draw the council’s serious attention to the first information obtained from a partial scrutiny of documents; seized during the recent- search of voluntary labor iu service under tlffi Deutsche Front,”
The League publishes the Sjaar Commission’s report of the Front’s activities, and declares that tile seized documents show that the Front, identical with the Nazi Party, has subjected residents to threats, the most common of which is “Wait until after 1935.” The Front is divided into such small cells (hat it is impossible to miss ally house or person in Germany. Wireless and newspapers are used for the purpose of persecuting resident's, while boycott and denunciation -to itbe JQermaiii authorities are among other means of bringing pressure to bear.
The report charges Hie subsidiary body, which wars' allegedly created to hold the wilder spirits in check, with [bring really a super-spy organisation, IO.OhO strong, ready to take action at {any moment. The seized documents, included a report by Air. Knox’s ex-butler, giving, alleged conversations at. the : dinner table. The German Government 'is definitely charged with supporting :the Front’s persecution activities.
