FAMOUS AIR LINER

RABATJL, Nov. 4. The historic air liner Canberra,, which discovered “Smithy” and Mr.' ITlm in the Southern Cross, when they were lost a few years ago, has been completely burned in the Morobo district owing to a collision on the Lutheran mission aerodrome.

The pilot and mechanic escaped unhurt:, but a native was burned to death.

The lato Captain L. Holden was the original owner of the Canberra.
