Several Soda springs have made their appearance at the utiarry oil Mr. I. Tolich’s prouerty on tne Renniera settlement, from which stone is being procured for the metalling of the KaikoheOmapere section of the No. 1 main highway, North Auckland. The largest of the springs is estimated to flow at the rate of about 60.000 to 70,000, gallons a day. The soda is warm and on some, days' almost boiling.
