LIQUOR AT CLUB
PROPRIETOR FINED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Rodney Pankhurst was fined £3O, with costs, on a charge of keeping liquor for sale in a no-license area, and on a second similar charge was convicted and ordered to pay costs. He was further fined £4 for ordering liquor, and the liquor seized was confiscated, With the suggestion that it be, sent to the Public Hospital. The case was in reference to Rodney’s club at -Seatoun. Three waiters were each fined £2 for abetting. The case agtjjinst a taxi driver for delivering was dismissed.
