BRITISH ATTITUDE FIRM NOTE DESPATCHED (Received December 9,2 p.m.) LONDON, Dee. 8. In the House of Commons, Captain A. Eden said a note had been sent by Britain to the Persian Government which stated : “His Majesty’s Government will hold (lie Persian Government directly responsible for any damage to the company’s interests and interference with their premises or business activities in Persia, or any failure to afford Hie company adequate, protection, and in the event of anv such damage, occurring. Dis Majesty’s Government will regard itsell as entitled to take all such measures as the situation may demand for the company’s protection.”
