CHARGE HOT JUSTIFIED
£756 CLAIM DISMISSED (Per Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. As a sequel to a mortgage of £756 on f a farm at Inglewood, Arthur Edward Cowley, of Tariki, a farmer, proceeded IHi the New Plymouth Supreme Court yesterday against Claude William HaseldCn aiuf the Bank of New South Wales, 'claiming £SOO and interest"for alleged misrepresentation. I Hasleden was at the time manager of [the bank at Inglewood. The action ' against the bank was not proceeded with, and counsel for plaintiff accepted a n.on--1 suit with costs.
After evidence and before counsel had addressed the jury,' Mr. Justice Reed said ho did not think the matter should !go any further. The- judge held that j the charges had not been justified and ! entered judgment for Haselden with costs.
