SUBMARINE MYSTERIES
THE ARABIAN SEA AN INDIAN EXPEDITION SEARCH FOR LEMUIRA (Elec. Tel. Copyripht—United Press Assn.) (Received Nov. 20, 11 a.m.) CALCUTTA, .nov. 25. A search for the supposed submerged continent between the Indian and the African coasts in the Arabian Sea will be undertaken next year by an expedition headed by Colonel Seymour (Sewell, director of zoological survey in India. The expedition will also investigate the life of rare marine animals that are supposed to exist in the Arabian sea. An attempt will bo made to capture monsters that are believed to live in midwater, never rising to the surface or sinking to the bed of the ocean. Tho expedition will attempt to discover traces of continental areas supposed to have stretched westward from India many thousands of years ago. The continent is known to scientists as Lcmuria, the existence of which is based on similar fauna present on the Indian and .African coasts of the Arabian Sea.
