WELLINGTON, this day.
Arthur Gordon Kale, 30, pleaded guilty to the theft of ladies’ handbags and contents to the value of £l7 11s fid, and three bicycles valued at £3, £4, and £2. The accused, who was discharged from prison in September, rode round on bicycles at night snatching handbags. Cumulative sentences .of five months were imposed.
