McKenzie, in endorsing the remarks of Air. Hughes, said the win was so much more meritorious, seeing that Air. Austin had won the match from scratch. Air. Austin suitably and briefly replied, thanking the speakers for their remarks, and mentioned that he had now Keen attending the matches of the club for so long that he had come to look forward to tho various matches and competitions with the utmost keenness.

It is proposed to endeavor to arrange a match with the Gisborne Rifle Club for the holidays.
