GORED BY BULL
FARMER BADLY INJURED (Pur Press Association.) IIAWERA, this day. Attacked by a vicious Jersey bull yesterday on iiis farm at Havvera, Evan Evans was severely gored about the thigh, besides suffering severe chest bruises, and but for the timely interference of a son, who drove the animal off with a pitchfork, would probably have been fatally injured. He was removed to hospital and Operated on, and is progressing satisfactorily.
