SWIMMING
OLYMPIC CARNIVAL A feature of the Olympic Swimming Carnival next Tuesday night will bo three special events for*schoolboys. Keen interest is* being taken in the boys’ dive, 33 entries having been received. The usual boys’ dash of 33 l-3yds. trill be supplemented with a school relay, the champion teams from each of the Gisborne schools taking part. Two novelty events on the programme, the plunge and ribbon dive, together with the handicap clivh, promise to meet with the wishes! of tile audience who desire a more varied programme. Another attraction will be seen in the relay, comprising two ladies and two men in each team.
