HIGH QUALITY COAL
SEAMS NEAR NGARUAWAHIA (Per Press Association.) HAMILTON, last, night. The coal seams on the farm owned by Messrs. G'atavicli ajnd Kemp, five mile's west of Ngaruawahia, are reported to he very rich. The seams of coal are stated to be 10ft. deep on an average area of one mile by a mile and a-half. Samples have been analysed and the quality is reported lo be equal to the highest New Zealand workable coal. It is estimated that there are 7,000,000 lo 8,000,000 lons.
