CIVIL SERVICE "CUTS"
The Minister of Hon. W. B. Taverner, informed a deputation from the executive council of the Railway Tradesmen's Association in Wellington that Cabinet was considering the question of the restoration of the 1922 Civil Service "cuts." Members of the deputation stated later that there appeared to be every reason to believe that the Government would do something in the direction of restoring to some extent the wages reduction complained of.
