FRENCH CABINET CRISIS CONTROVERSIAL QUESTIONS (Elcc. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) Australian ana N.Z Press Association. PARIS, Dec. 29. The Ministry is regarded as again in peril. M. Poincare opposed the raising of salaries of deputies and senator*, and left the Senate before the debate, when the proposal was carried bv 140 votes to 107. The Chamber has already approved the proposal. Discontent is -also working up because M. Poincare refused to lend his authority to shield Klotz or stifle possible reactions in the Gazette du Franco scandal. There remains the religious uestion, which is always a danger in the Ministry. The Daily Express is of opinion that M. Poincare will resign early in the new year. Klotz, before an examining m-agis-ttate, declared he was the victim of his own imprudence. He was lirmly convinced when he drew the cheques that they would be met. He relied on the money coming in. He had not intended to swindle anybody.
