SHOOTING MISHAP

(Per Press Association.) ASHBURTON, tiiis day

Gordon Cartwright, 19, .sustained serious injuries yesterday while shooting. He was resting on his gun when tne charge exploded, badly shattering his light hand and injuring the left. Ho was admitted to hospital in a serious condition. No amputation so far has been necessary. Cartwright is a county Rugby representative and a well-known runner.
