On the 25th anniversary of the first flight of a power-driven aeroplane, when Orville Wright flew 750 feet at a speed of 50 miles an hour, the Imperial Airways' Armstrong-Siddley liner, carrying 21 passengers, to-day flew from London to Paris in an. hour and 45 minutes, averaging 130 miles an hour.
