1928 ’S RECORD FIGURES (Australian Press Assn.—Uniled Service, (Received December 27, 2 p.m.) LONDON, December 26. Over SO.GfX) people travelled; from Croydon to the Continent by air dining 1928, a ’record since the inception of the service in 1919. Over 30,000 Hew by British air lines. The majority of air travellers are women. An Imperial Airways official says one of the most satisfactory recent features is the number of business people non realising to what extent tile airways save valuable time.
