ANNUAL PICNIC

MARIST BROS.' AND ST. MARY'S Yesterday's unfavorable weather failed to mar'thc enjoyment of the annual picnic of tho pupils froln the. Mu.ri.st Bros.' School and St..,Marys Convent, which Mas held at the Patulahi Domain. Some 500 children attended tho gathering, and a most enjoyable day was spent by all. The occasion relied cd credit upon the organisers, and on the ladies' committee of 'he parish,' especially Mrs. R. Secals, who supervised the catering arrangements. The. children, who were under the charge, of the Sisters of St. Joseph, the Miirist Bros.' teachers, and a party of ladies from the parish, took part in a splendid programme of sports.
