It is seldom thai residents of a town have the pleasure of seeing views of the place shown ou the silver sheet. In addition to the views of Cisborne the acting of .Miss Audrey Barker, the heroine, Mr. 1.. Fitzgerald, the hero, Mr. A. W. Mambling, the villainous reporter, and Mr. Lane, the detective, added interest to the picture. A' number of pretty girls, several polo players, and the members of the Fire Brigade helped towards making the production

'The picture began with several views along the Wnimatn River, showing the Wats Memorial and many beautiful homes along the banks A .scene of the Waikanae beach was then shown, followed by views oL the town on election day. The picture then showed the students of the High School coming out at the interval, and the Central School pupils taking part in a demonstration of drill. The production was full of amusing incidents, and when Freddie, the reporter, was late at the station. Superintendent J. Kane severely chastised him. Freddie was further seen in a newspaper office, where be made up a story about bis rival Bill, the hero. The Fox film, "Colleen." with a bid limit east, including Mndure Bellamy, J. Parrel! McDonald, Ted McNnmara and Sammy Cohen, in a charming story oi love, tangled finances and a bit. of horse ilesh. is the chief supporting picture. Though with just sufficient drama in it to give solidity, "Colleen" is mainly a comedy, and a verv hilarious one at that. The mixture of Jewish ami Irish wit, aAvnvs incongruous arid at (overheads, makes the picture a real delight, while excitement provided by the culnnuaimg horse race, which is, of course, to stabilise, the fainilv fortunes, is a genuine ihnll Ted McNamara and Sammy Cohen again rise to heights in their coinedv parts. The sumjorting co-jjedy. "Cupid and the Clock" and Fox News C.a'/e.de. .are verv fine. The Inst two serconincs take ~,-ice tomorrow at the special matinee at 6 o'clock, and to-morrow nijnt.;
