TOKOMARU BAY NEWS
When out on his run mustering cattle Mr. C. T. Jefford met with an accident. Mr. Jeflferd's horse foil with him, rolling on the rider. A broken leg resulted, and Mr. Jefferd was taken out to Te Puia Hospital, where he is making good progress. On Monday evening the final dance of the local lodge, 1.0.0. F., was held in Te Puka Hall. There was a good attendance, and a very enjoyable evening was spent. The music was supplied by Mr. Wi Pahau's orchestra, and Messrs. T. Edge and I). Pepper were M's.C. Mr. Kenny, manager of the Ruatoria branch of the Batik of New South Wales, i.s absent on holiday leave.
