WHERE IS WILKINS?
ARCTIC HOLDS MYSTERY SEWARD {Alaska), April 10. There is no confirmation of the report that a message Was received fi'om Captain G.H. Wilkins, at Port'Barrow yesterday, and the silence that for five days has enveloped tho Arctic expedition remains unbroken. ..It is possible that Captain Wilkins and his pilot, Carl Fielson, may have started on their dash for Spitzbergen. Oh the other hand; the wireless operators are confident that they would'have been able to; hoar messages which they expect he would try to send once they, got the plane aloft. The belief is that Wilkins' transmitter has been dismantled from the .warehouse where it formerly functioned, and will 'Hot" be beard attain until the favorable, moment, when Wilkins attempts to hop : off for his flight over the Pole. ,
