KAHUTIA CLUB There was a good attendance of members and friends on the Kahutia Bowling Club's green on Saturday afternoon. The principal game was that between Newton's and Sawyer's rinks, the only two left in at the finish of the sixth round of the Hennessy Memorial Vase competition. Newton got a good lead in the early stages which Sawyer was unable, to catch. Newton's" rink thus won the honor of holding the cup for this season and also the trophies that accompany it. POVERTY BAY OLTJB There was a good attendance of members at the Poverty Bay Bowling Club's green on Saturday afternoon, when a pumber of interesting gamed were played, with the following results:— Handicap doubles: Godding, Coutts (r), 23, v. Slight, Mac Gibbon (s) 17; Leggett, Shann (s) 22, v. Ritchie, Colley (s) 17. Ordinary games: Hughes, Dingle, Greig (s) 31, v. Campbell, Andrew, Moore (s) 25; Hill, Chegwidden, Smith, Cameron > (s) 28, v. S'ealy, Ranger, Jennings, Hopkinson (a) 25.
