SUICIDE BY DROWNING

(Per Press Association.) OHRISTCHTJRCH, last night, "Suicide by drowning" was the verdict returned by the coroner, Mr. E. I). Mosley, S.M., at the inquest yesterdav on the body ofi Hannah Packer, 60* single, whoso body was found on New Brighton beach. Evidence was given that Miss Packer had been very depressed since undergoing an operation. She left her home between Thursday night and Friday morning, ' leaving a note to her sister, with whom she lived.
