The din of motor exhausts in Wellington i,i to be stopped. The,City Council has adopted a by-law prohibiting cutouts and making compulsory the effective use of silencers on motor cycles and motor vehicles. An offer by the Motor Cycle Club to assist in stopping speeding and excessive noises was accepted by the council.
