Part XXXVl—Provident Fund: Before «ny horse shall be nominated for any race the fee of £1 shall be paid to tho Secretary of tho N.Z. Trotting Association in default of which a fine of £5 will be imposed. This feo is only payable once during the lifetime of the horse, vide new rules, September, 1918. Owners of horses starting for tho first time after being registered with tho Association must produoo their oopy of the completed registration form to the Stipendiary Steward at the meeting. Hunt Association Rules. Such horses must also bo produced iu tho Birdcage at 10.30 a.m. prior to the first race of tho meeting for inspection by tho Stipendiary Steward.
