TOLAGA BAY SCHOOL.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) At the monthly meeting of the Tolaga liny fck’hool Committee there were present Messrs T. FolTieringliam (ehnirman), Smith, Sharpe, Litlleworth, Parlies and (he headmaster. 'J'lie headmaster reported that the average attendance for (lie June quarter was 177, making an average for the halfyear of 174. which raised the grade of the school to IV. 13. The present roll number was 198. With tire improved roads the number of children, riding to school on bicycles was increasing, and it would be advisable to apply to the Board for the erection of a bieyclil shelter. The various matters arising out of the headmaster’s Report were discussed, and it was decided to have certain firewood cut and stored; to apply for a grant for bievclc shelter, and to assist with the ball. The secretary was instructed to write to the Board regarding the installation of a. septic tank, "stressing the advisability of this step in view of the heavy burden of sanitary fees. Messrs Littleworth and Smith were appointed a visiting committee for the ensuing month.
