ELTHAM FIRE TRAGEDY.

INQUEST ADJOURNED

(Per Press Association.)

ELTHAAI, last night. The inquest on the bodies of the victims of the recent fatal fire commenced to-dav, before Alr. J. W. Stubbs, J.P. The bodies were practically unrecognisable but modieul evidence was called to identify as far as possible by what \Vas left of the remains and their locality where found as compared with the rooms tho victims slept in. This ,was all the evidence taken, the police being only de ; sirens of proving identity. The inquest was then adjourned until Alondny, March 29.
