A complete agreement was reached in the typographical dispute at the Conciliation Council this morning. No alteration was made in the piece rate. ’The new rates agreed to are : Linotype operators in chief cities. £5 10s: outside the cities, £5 ss, with a- corresponding increase in monotype and monolino operators; bulk, bands, £5 2s 6d; second stone band, £5 7s 6d for day work. Hand compositors, first, division £5 2s 6d, second £4 15s. The classification ol the two divisions is altered front 7000 population to 6000. Only minor alterations are made in the conditions.
