Lee Smith's Follies pfayed before an appreciative audience at. the Opera House iasl night. Bright and hreezv from the opening overture to the grand finale, ami free from vulgarity, the entertainment war, very popul.it, and each number was fuhowed with enthusiastic up-plau-v. was heard 1,, advantage in "1 v. i.rid; i it they ever think of me," "Look for the Silver Lining,” and ‘•Fate.'" S'ho also made a gre.-o hit with her dm, 1 “Will \ on Dance?” with Frank Meade. The Latter vocalist, who sang ‘T Never Thought You’d Care,” “Somebody’s Wrong," and “Sam.” was also very popular. Doreen Adela proved herself a clever dancer, and iter numbers were followed by prolonged apnl’iusx Her song “Oh Harold!” was .also much appreciated. Frank Meade and Earle Walker, in tlicit songs at the piano, were accorded enthusiastic applause, and tin it contributions to tin programme were a great success Tim comedy vuuk war. left, in the capable hands of Joint Larkins. who proved himself well deserving of the adju.-live “-lolly.” His clever hits and am using sang, “Dinky Dinky, Parley Von," kepi everyone in roars of laughter. The entertainment was brought let it dose hv an amusing comedy entitled “Mrs Gallagher.” in which John Larkins was m-pcnsiblc for much laughin'.' with his clever impersonation of a cute old dame.
