BELGIUM’S BIRTH ALLOWANCE,

LONDON, Dec. 9.
'Fhe Times’ Brussels correspondent says tho Government has decided to institute payment of birth and family allowance; to ita employees. The birth allowance has been fixed at 250 francs ; the family allowance will be fifty francs monthly for each of the first two children, forty for a third, and thereafter fifty per child. The allowance stops when a child ceases to he dependent on its father.
