LONDON, May 9. Two hundred men armed with rifles, shotguns and bombs attacked the police barracks at Cloyne. A sergeant and five constables repelled the attack, despite bombs partially demolishing the building. Eventually tho barracks iwero set on fire. The garrison took refuge m adjoining houses, which also were set on fire. One constable was seriously injured. It is- believed .one raider was killed.

Twenty-two more Sinn Feiner hunger strikers have been released from Belfast gaol, thirteen from Cork, and forty-two from WormwoOd Scrubbs. The latter had been foodless for "from fourteen to eighteen daya.
